Zimbabwe inflation is at 11,268,758.9% .
Communal violence can be so dangerous.

people can buy 3 eggs with 100million Zimbabwe dollars. Just think how people will be living there.
We should look around the world and must learn from others mistakes (sin also small for current situation of Zimbabwe).

Advice on diet for Ramadan

BBC - Religion & Ethics - Ramadan: Health advice
Advice on diet

During years where Ramadan falls in the winter, and the long hot days of the summer a mere distant memory, most of the health problems are likely to arise from inappropriate diet, over-eating and insufficient sleep. Firstly, there is no need to consume excess food at Iftar (the food eaten immediately after sunset to break the fast), dinner or Sahur (the light meal generally eaten about half an hour to one hour before dawn).

The reasons for this are two-fold. Firstly and most importantly such a lifestyle contradicts the principal aims and spirit of Ramadan. A learned scholar once said that "There is no receptacle more odious to God, than a belly stuffed full of food after a fast" and therefore "of what use is the Fast as a means of conquering God's enemy and abating appetite, if at the time of breaking it one not only makes up for all one has missed during the daytime, but perhaps also indulges in a variety of extra foods?" Indeed, there is a concern that it is becoming customary for some to "stock up" for Ramadan, so that more is consumed during this time than in the course of several other months combined. It is therefore worth reflecting on the true objective of fasting which is to experience hunger and to check desire in an attempt to reinforce the soul in piety.

Secondly, the body has regulatory mechanisms that reduce the metabolic rate and ensure efficient utilization of the body's fat reserves in times of hunger. Add to this the fact that most people assume a more sedentary lifestyle whilst fasting and the implication is that a balanced diet that is even less in quantity that normal will be sufficient to keep a person healthy and active during the month of Ramadan.

People like Olympics Hostess more than cheerleaders

People all over the world like Olympics hostess more than skimpy cheerleader. It is very clear that you can't attract people showing off your body. People like decency and simplicity.
These girls have gone through long training for this. These girls true
representative of Chinese beauty and traditional values. (I wanna one
of them.)

Photo taken on Aug. 21, 2008 shows Iraqi athlete Dana Hussein Abdulrazak hold a Chinese knot in Beijing, China.

Iraqi women runner Dana Abdul-Razzaq has received as loud applause as champions. The Iraqi team's only woman faced many obstacles to reach Beijing, from a sniper's bullets to a lack of training facilities and religious and cultural opposition to female athletes.

Before the Olympics, she was told that Iraq was shut out of the international sports gala. When her coach consoled her by saying that she could take part in the 2012 Olympics, she broke into tears, "who knows if I could live that long!"

London 'blown away' by Beijing Olympics: Boris

Mr. Boris is impressed very much with Beijing Olympics so I'm. This olympics will be remember for many years to come.
AFP: London 'blown away' by Beijing Olympics: Boris
Speaking in Beijing, where the Olympic flag will be formally passed to him at Sunday's closing ceremony, Johnson said the huge spectacle of this year's event was an inspiration to London organisers.

"I think I speak for millions of people in the UK, when I say we have been dazzled, we have impressed, we have been blown away by these Beijing Games but we have not been intimidated," he told reporters.

"And in our own sweet way, without wasting taxpayers money, I am absolutely convinced that we can do just as well in 2012."

Johnson said Britain's medal successes over the past three weeks -- their best performance for 100 years -- had provided the London Games with a real boost.

"The Games are changing the public perception of the Olympics ... Olympo-sceptics are being rapidly converted," he said, insisting that the Games would stay within its 9.3 billion pound budget.

Johnson said he had not raised the issue of human rights when he had met with Beijing officials. China has faced international criticism on issues ranging from its jailing of dissidents to its censorship of the Internet.

"I think millions of people in Britain and in London are deeply concerned obviously about human rights in China," he said.

"But I feel very strongly that these Games offer a fantastic opportunity for China to open up to the rest of the world ... and for China to understand how the rest of the world thinks about China."

I'm alienated

many times I feel alienated by friends. I'm the person who stick to his values, I give more important to being right than being winner. I cannot focus on multiple things at a time. They like me, but they never make feel that I'm part their group/team. They never involve me in their things like party or study session. I feel this more during my collage days.
Perhaps today's world in not for good people. I feel that this what all other people feel, who want to live with their religious values. Some says you are to good to be considered as good.

Make me feel my existence.

Why premerital romance is wrong

It said in all religions that man and women should not get
close(intimate or have affairs) before marriage. If there is any rule
has been made specially in religion, there must be some very strong
reasons abt that .Let me tell you why having affair is wrong,

  • most of us believes that first love is true love, if u fall in
love with your marriage partner after marriage, than u already got ur
    true love.
  • Love is most precious thing save it. Don't vest it here and there.
  • Most of people's heart is broken in love. Their life get
derailed, they become hopeless, some go the wrong and some even end
their life. After marriage this chance is very low.
  • If you already know ur marriage partner before marriage than there is very little surprises left abt each other after marriage.
  • people in affairs thinks that their partner will accept as you are now, but a lot things changed after marriage, you have to change ur self, this is where the problem starts.
  • People vest a lot of time in dating- going to park, spending time there, returning. If somebody interrupts - mess up of beautiful time, also fear or hardliners. After marriage u don't need to go anywhere, u can spend as much time as like romancing.
  • hind-> ladki ke alwa aur bhi bohot logon ko patana padta hai, like father, brother. ladki ke 50 deewano (might be more depends on gender ratio of ur region), unse bhi to bachana padta hai.
these few reasons why premarital romance is wrong.

OpenSuse 11 fianl report

I have installed opensuse with kde4 base. Installation is completed in abt 15 minutes. IT is quite fast. performance is improved very much. I'm logged in kde4 within 1 minutes. I'm using kde 4 for few days. I find quite usable. There is alot of features are missing in kde 4 as compare to kde3.
System is quite fast. I get the desktop in less than 1 min, which is very big improvement. firefox version is beta 5 , so I have to update it to final version.

kde 4.1 problems

I have installed opensuse 11.0 with kde4 4.0.4 , I'm trying to install kde 4.1 but unable to get it working. There are many peple who have same problem. If u get it working pls tell me.

open Suse 11.0 beta 1 report

I have downloaded the beta 1 DVD (64bit) of OpenSuse 11.0, it takes 1 week for me (in central India) to download whole DVD. Till then beta 2 is arrived.
Installation on quite fast. I have installed kde3,kde4,lamp server and mono development, it takes 25 minute for package installation and in 30 minute my system is ready to use. Installation is quite fast. My fedora 8 installation (replace kde4 with gnome) takes more than 40 minutes to install. OpenSuse installer looks beautiful. the best thing abt installer that it offer choieces between kde3,kde4 and gnome. I it is good to give choice for kde3 because there are many application that are not ported to kde4 and also in kde4 desktop is changed very much so some people will take time to adjust with it.

Booting also quite fast. I logged in kde4. performance is quite good. kde4 is quite usable. I have used system for some time. I find beta version in good shape.
There are some bug like plasma applets crashes on logout.

It comes with flash and java preinstalled, that is what most of the people want (i'm not able to configure flash with 64 bit firefox in fedora8). It saves alot of time of user to configure newly installed system.although java applets ar not workingm even after installing 23 bit java. I hope this will be fixed in final release. among other things system is quite optimized. It look pretty even with vesa driver (no nvidia driver for 2.6.25 kernel- right now). yast package installer already listed some additional repos including packman.

Last Note: OpenSuse 11.0 seem very close to my dream desktop os.

Modevelop 1.0 released

This is a really important mile stone for mono project.

After a few years in the oven, we are ready to announce the first release of MonoDevelop. Lluis has put together a set of in-depth release notes that covers the major features available in MonoDevelop and links to various tutorials and screencasts as well as extensive screenshots of what is available in MonoDevelop 1.0.

MonoDevelop 1.0 is designed mostly for Linux developers creating Gnome and ASP.NET applications but MonoDevelop is also available for MacOS users that download our Mono installer and will still be useful if they are building Mono-based applications on OSX.

The IDE has many of the features that you would expect from a modern IDE for Mono: support for programming in multiple languages, an extensible design, editors and designers for ASP.NET and Gnome applications, integration with Unix toolchains and Visual Studio Solutions, support for source code control and following standard Unix development practices, integrated NUnit testing, Unix Packaging and Deployment (following the GNU conventions, and Mono conventions) for libraries and packages), internationalization and localization, tools to maintain your project documentation and command line tools to access this functionality.

Cartoon of prophet

Danish newspapers again published again cartoon of Prophet Mohammad (peace upon him).

They call it "freedom of speech". I don't understand there definition freedom. As much as I know freedom means to do any thing without hurting anybody.
Cartoon is an art to entertain the people. It is very creative thing. But they used it do the destructive thing. How bad their mentality is.

Mono/Qt and Nokia/Trolltech

I used to do some Qt/C++ development few years back. Qt4 has grown very much since than.

It think it is very difficult to integrate Qt designer in Monodevelop
which is Gtk based. I never seen an GTk application which host Qt/Kde
controls and vice - versa.

Now Trolltech is part of now part of Nokia. Nokia is very much
interested in Mono. They have ported mono to their mobile platform.

I think we should Nokia/Trolltech guys for either start a project
similar to QtJambi (Qt for java) or something like that. Both mono and
Qt are crucial for Nokia. I expect they will come up some thing soon.

One thing I am worrying that how much priority they will give to desktop.
Lets see.

Moving to mono

I'm have started to moving my asp.net development to Mono from MS asp.net last week. After working for a week I found few few missing pieces
  1. First and most important is the asp.net designer
  2. Some things breaks when u change mono version (My application build using 1.2.5 is not working on 1.2.6)
  3. intellisence for asp.net mark up code , because most of the people (specially ) rely on intellisence (It become more important because of absence of asp.net designer).

I'll try keep u updated abt my experience with mono, depends on availability of time.
